The Gulf Trade - on the Independence 2

The Gulf Trade was an Oil Tanker owned by Gulf Oil company.  On Tuesday 10 March 1942 she was torpedoed by U-588. She broke in half behind the Superstructure. The bow sank immediately, and stern drifted into deeper water before sinking.  The stern is well defined and should be easy to navigate.  About 90’ to the sand with about 20’ of relief.
