John Trilli
PADI IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR
Born & raised in Brooklyn , NY, I spent most of my childhood and teenage years near and around the sea. Whether it was nature walks through the marshland water front of Sheepshead bay or fishing the Hamptons for a weekend... Most of my free time was spend by the Sea
My favorite TV series is "The Undersea World of Jacques Coustea." Each episode aired once a week and after I watched it, I couldn't wait for the week to pass so I could watch the next episode! Also, the name of Jacqes Coustea's research vessel "Calypso" made a lasting impression on me.
My favorite movie is "Jaws". Not too long after Jaws was released I moved from Brooklyn to NJ. It was at that time that I walked into Divers Two.
Divers Two Changed my life!!! As soon as i entered Divers Two, I was greeted by the most kind, friendly, courteous and professional group of people I ever met. As I browsed the store, something caught my eye. It was like a mini yellow UFO was in the display case. I asked the owner what is that? He said is is a sony underwater housing and a sony 8mm video camera so people can take a video underwater. OMG!! I knew nothing aout diving but I bought the housing and the camera. I had to have it! After I took the camera home I said now what? So I went back to Divers Two and asked how I can make underwater movies like Jacques Coustea, and that was the start of my new life.
Divers Two certified me and they took me diving. They taught me more then I could ever imagine. Til this day, I still have the same amount of love and respect for the staff, the shop and the owner.

Jeremy Lipari
PADI IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR
Jeremy was introduced to diving at the age of 13 at his summer camp. After his first breath underwater, he knew he was hooked. After getting certified in college in 1999, he knew he had to help introduce others to the wonderful world of diving! Jeremy pursued this goal by becoming a divemaster in 2003, an instructor in 2005 and an IDC Staff Instructor in 2020. Most of Jeremy’s extensive dive experience is off the beaches and in the inlets and bays of New Jersey. However, he has logged some time underwater in the St. Lawrence River between Canada and the US, and the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Some day he will get to the crystal clear blue water of the Caribbean.
Jeremy lives for wreck diving and loves nothing more than seeing the various wrecks that are available locally. He takes nothing but pictures and leaves nothing but bubbles, and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Frank Bevacqua
PADI INSTRUCTOR ; TDI TECH INSTRUCTOR
Ever since my first resort dive in Aruba May of 1992. I knew my happy place was beneath the Sea. There were a number of dive shops in the area, but after I met with Joe Skimmons, owner of Divers Two, my search was over. That was 29 years ago and a 1000 plus dives later. During that time, my recreational dive career lead me to achieve the level of Master Scuba Diver. But my love for the sport lead me down a professional path. I have achieved my instructor certifications from PADI, SDI/TDI and Sidemount Essentials. (Steve Martin) Over the years, I developed severe knee and back deterioration, so diving doubles was out of the question. But that didn’t stop my participation in the sport I love, I knew Sidemount diving was the way to go. So I have my Instructor Specialties in Sidemount Technical Diving and my journey continues, and so can Yours! Let me show you how through Sidemount Scuba Diving.

Johna has always had a passion for teaching stemming from her career as a master hairstylist/mentor for the new generation entering the industry. So when the opportunity to assist new divers learn how to dive she just couldn’t resist. Robert Burbella
PADI ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
I began diving as a teenager and a year after my high school graduation I earned my PADI Open Water Certification. I had always been fascinated by the sea and watched Jacque Cousteau on TV every chance I could get. It held a sense of mystery and adventure filled with exotic life and treasures yet to be discovered. The oceans’ have their shipwrecks and each one has a unique story about their voyages, their crew and what happened to them. The more I learned the more I wanted to know. Over the years I have had the opportunity to dive in some beautiful dive destinations throughout the Caribbean, Central America as well as right here in New Jersey, enjoying each locale’s unique character and charm. By the time I met Joe Skimmons at Divers Two I had already made up my mind that I wanted SCUBA to play a greater role in my life. Joe and the staff helped me move forward and become a Divemaster in 2019 and an Assistant Instructor in 2020. All of which makes me want to become more involved in diving. I also really enjoy working with student divers as they take their first breaths while submerged underwater, an act that takes a giant leap of faith to perform initially. SCUBA diving allows you to gaze into a world that is hidden for most people. Just under the waves is an entire universe of alien beings, strange creatures, and life forms whose lineage dates back millions of years. As the great Cousteau once said,
“The sea, once it cases it’s spell, holds one in it’s net of wonder forever.” See you on the dive boat…

On occasion you may see Julia in the shop helping a customer, and again in the pool helping the Instructors as a Divemaster! Sebastien Honauer
RESIDENT MARINE BIOLOGIST
Sebastien's passion for the ocean was ignited at a young age, growing up surfing, fishing, and boating. From his earliest memories, he dreamed of becoming a marine biologist, fascinated by the sea. Currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in marine biology, he spends his free time at the dive shop honing his skills and working towards his dive master certification. When he's not exploring the depths, you'll find him at Jenkinson's Aquarium, either diving in the shark tanks or hanging out with the penguins, fully immersed in his love for marine life.
Gavin Shwahla was born and raised in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, and has always been deeply
connected to the ocean and the natural world. Inspired by the likes of Steve Irwin and Jacque
Cousteau, at the age of 13, Gavin, along with his parents and aunt, enrolled in the PADI Open
Water Dive course through DiversTwo Inc., fulfilling a step in a young man’s journey to create a
life like his heroes. After completing the course Gavin’s family took a dive trip to Key Largo. That
euphoric feeling of soaring over the tropical reef among the corals and fish is still to this day one
of the most impactful experiences of Gavin’s life.
Since that first dive, Gavin’s life has taken him away from Scuba diving, leading him to the
Adirondack mountains where he earned his Bachelor’s in Wildlife Science. After a few years in
the field as a wildlife researcher, Gavin transitioned his focus from studying nature through data
to studying nature through his camera lens.
Driven by a deep desire to dive into the world of underwater photography, Gavin has found his
way back to scuba as the newest member of the DiversTwo team. Hoping to bring his unique
experience to the shop’s customers while reacquainting himself with the technical aspects of the
sport!
Outside the dive shop, Gavin runs a production company, Gavin Wild Visuals, creating films and
photography that inspire people to rewild the planet through rewilding their souls.
