The Ranger, lying in 85 feet of water, is a 19th Century Steamer. Also known as the Photography Wreck, is a great opportunity to see beauty in cold-water corals and sponges that attach themselves to the boiler and engine components.
The Northeast Sailer Wreck is a favorite in this area. At 75 feet, it is low lying and good for fish and lobsters. Off the port bow are a couple of anchors and some frames worth exploring. Astute divers will notice she carries a cargo of steam engines. |
